Hampshire Judo announce draft calendar for 2019 & 2020

Hampshire Judo has announced its draft calendar for the next two years.

Some dates are still to be confirmed, and may change slightly, but good to get these in the diary for next year now. Please note that next year’s Closed is scheduled for a Saturday.

Competitions (all at Fleming Park)

Closed – Saturday 6th April 2019
Red and Yellow Belt rumble – Sunday 7th July 2019
Open – Sunday 27th October 2019
Closed – Sunday 29th March 2020
Open – Sunday 25th Oct 2020

Dan Gradings 2019

Sunday 27th January – TBC
Sunday 28 April (Easter is the week before)
Sunday 18 August (Bank Holiday is the weekend after)

Squad training tbc

January – Salisbury
February – Andover
February – Aldershot (Southern Area training)
3rd March – Fleming Park
7th April – Fleming Park

Hampshire Judo competition dates

Hampshire Judo have announced the following competition dates for 2018:

  • 4 March Hampshire Closed, Osaka JC, Aldershot
  • 15 July Hampshire Red & Yellow Open, venue tba
  • 28 October Hampshire Open, venue tba
  • 28 October Hampshire Adaptive Judo Open, venue tba

Change of date for Hampshire Split Grade

Please note there has been a change to the previously advertised Hampshire competition dates.

The Split Grade competition has been brought forward to 31 May.

Entry form on British Judo website is still showing date as 19 July, will post a link as soon as this has been corrected.

Hampshire Judo events 2015

Judo fight
Hampshire Judo has set dates for its competitions and gradings during 2015. They are as follows:-

Competitions

Sunday 1st March – Hampshire Closed
Sunday 3rd May – Intercounties
Saturday 20th June – Hampshire Schools Games
Sunday 19th July – Split Grade
Sunday 4th October – Hampshire Open and Special Needs Open

All of these will take place at Fleming Park Leisure Centre, Passfield Avenue, Eastleigh, Hampshire SO50 9NL

Gradings

During 2015, Hampshire Judo will be holding Hampshire Kyu and Dan Gradings in two locations in the County.

February and August are being held at AWE Judo Club, Main Gym , Recreation Society, West Gate, Tadley, Hampshire, RG7 4PR
