No half term judo
Please not that due to school staff holidays and planned redecoration works, we are unable to access the school over February half term. There will be no judo therefore on the following dates:
- Tuesday 14 February
- Thursday 16 February
We have also been advised that due to cabling works we will not be able to run classes over Easter holidays.
Judo cancelled tonight
Taking into account the extreme temperatures and likely impact on attendance, we have decided to cancel tonight’s sessions.
Session will run as normal on Thursday, then Saturday sessions will commence from 23 July.
Apologies for any inconvenience.
No Judo Thursday 14 July
Please note, that due to school use of the hall, there will be no Judo on Thursday 14 July.
Classes will run as normal as Tuesday 19 and Thursday 21 July.
We hope to announce our summer plans shortly.
No half term judo
Please note there will be no Judo during half term:
- Tuesday 31 May
- Thursday 2 June
As always players are encouraged to use this opportunity to train at other clubs, such as Holbrook or Priory.
There is a possibility of running some sessions over the summer holidays – watch this space.
Remember – no Judo at Court Lane this week
A quick reminder that there is no judo at Court Lane this week.
Classes will resume next week (Tuesday 10 May).
Senior club members are welcome to train with Priory Judo Club at Priory School, Southsea on Wednesday. Class runs from 7.30 – 9.00, there is a £5 mat fee.

Open, shut and open again
Classes resume after the Easter break on Tuesday 26 April and will run as normal on Thursday 28 April.
Please note however that there will be no judo the following week, Tuesday 3 May and Thursday 5 May.
The school is taking an extra day’s holiday on 3 May in respect of the Queen’s Jubilee, and the hall will be used for voting in local elections on 5 May.
Classes will resume again from Tuesday 10 May.
No Judo over Easter holiday period
Please note there will be no Judo over the Easter holidays. We are unable to access the school site as there are no staff available.
Our last class will run on Thursday 7 April. The club will re-open on Tuesday 26 April.
No Judo over February half term
Please note, that due to planned maintenance taking place in and around the school hall, there will be no Judo during the February half term.
Classes will run as normal 15 and 17 February, then resume from Tuesday 1 March.
Gradings will commence from Tuesday 8 March.
Christmas break 2021
Now that we are in December, it is safe to mention the C word!
Yes, Christmas is fast approaching… hopefully a more normal one for everyone than last year.
Below are details of our Christmas closure and New Year re-opening dates.
- Last session before Christmas: Thursday 16th December 2021.
- Reopen: Thursday 6th January 2022. (School officially reopens Tuesday 4th January, but this is an inset day so we have followed suit).
It has been a pleasure to be back on the mats this year, we have trained almost without a pause since the club reopened so enjoy the winter break.
