The Club is largely self funding, with the majority of our income received via weekly mat fees.
We have received grants in the past from Portsmouth Sports Council, John Menzies and Scottish & Southern Electric via their Kit for Kids scheme.
Our main fundraising objective now is to replace the tatami (mats) on a rolling programme.
How you can help
Easyfundraising
The Club is affiliated to the Easyfundraising initiative, found at www.easyfundraising.org.uk. Since we joined the scheme, in summer 2014, over £200 has been raised at no extra cost to our supporters.
By signing up to and using the Easyfundraising scheme, online shopping with participating retailers triggers a donation back to the Club.
Retailers include Amazon, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, John Lewis, Blacks, Millets, Argos, Asos etc.
Portsmouth Lottery
The Club is recognised as a Good Cause by the Portsmouth Lottery, launched by Portsmouth City Council. Tickets purchased via our page generate a donation equivalent to 50% of the ticket price, back to the Club.
