Age
Due to BJA insurance requirements, we are unable to accept children aged under 5.
Kit
We can provide a range of judo jackets for junior beginners to borrow. We also sell complete kits and encourage people to obtain their own kit as soon as they start to train regularly.
Fees
Mat fees are paid for every session attended and all proceeds go into the running of the club. All coaches and staff are unpaid volunteers. Current mat fees are £5 per session.
First session is FREE.
After 4 weeks, players must take out a BJA membership for insurance purposes.
New players aged between 11-25 may qualify for free first year membership and kit via the Yellow Belt Challenge.
Spectators
We provide plenty of seating for parents and family to watch but please keep noise to a minimum.
